Leon Tarasewicz is a painter. After studying at the Warsaw Fine-arts school, he returned to his native village, Walily, on the frontier between Poland and Byelorussia, where he lives, and works in an old school-house. His inspiration is the landscape around him, which his brushes transform into universal painting.
