Searching the fate of my grandfather

Searching the fate of my grandfather is story of the Czech family who had no information about its ancestor Vaclav Sindelar who was the austro-hungarian soldier and has not returned from the WWI. His grandson Vaclav Cerveny decided to find Sindelar´s grave and after many peripeties succeeded. There are many Czech families who are now interested to discover the story of their ancestors from the WWI. The soldiers of imperial army were - after the war in 1918 when new independent Czechoslovak Republic was established - forgotten as members of enemy and during the communist era in Czechoslovakia only soldiers fighting in the Soviet Red Army were remembered and celebrated.
