Call for projects : a logo for the FRANCO-Phonie 3.0 project

2013-10-31NEW DEALINE: 15th November 2013 - The Steering Committée of the FRANCO-Phonie3.0 project has launched a Call for projects for the creation of the official FRANCO-Phonie 3.0 logo and visual identity.
Call is open to young creative people from the countries involved by the project (Bulgaria, Cameroon, Morocco, Romania, Senegal and Tunisia).









Proposals must be submit by November 15th 2013 (mail stamp be a prove), to the following address:

Closing of the 65th URTI General Assembly

2013-10-28


The URTI 65th General Assembly took place in Paris, on October 16th 2013, at the France Télévisions headquarters.

Almost 80 participants, representing public broadcasting organizations from 27 countries, had the opportunity to discuss about different topics related to the Union’s general organisation and took on a share of the URTI’s Radio and Television Commissions.


Three new members have been accepted by the General Assembly ( TV10 and Radio10 of Rwanda , BNT of Bulgaria and Radio Mauritania).

On this same occasion the elections of the executive board members’ were held.

Finally , the Tewfik Khelladi’s proposal about free access to sports rights Resolution was unanimously adopted by the members.

Among others : Algeria, Saudi Arabia, Belgium, Benin , Bulgaria, Burundi, Cameroon , Denmark, Egypt, France , Guinea , Hungary , Italy, Kosovo, Mali, Mauritania, Morocco , Palestine , Portugal, Romania, Russia, Rwanda , Senegal, Switzerland, Chad , Tunisia, Vietnam were present.

Winners of the 25th International URTI Radio Grand Prix

2013-10-19The Jury of the 25th URTI International Radio Grand Prix has proclamed the list of the award-winners in Paris on 17th October 2013.
This Jury, chaired by Mr Dinu Flamand, included representatives of 15 countries. 135 radio programmes on "Frontiers" have been selected by 76 radio channels coming from 42 different countries.

The prize-giving ceremony took place at Maison de Radio France in Paris, on Wednesday, October 16 2013, with the participation of many managers of international public radio and television channels members of the URTI, under the presidency of Jean-Luc Hees (URTI President and CEO of Radio France).

In 2013 the URTI reinforced its position as leader in international grand prix with the participation of 86 countries in its radio-television Grand Prix, endowed with 10,000 dollars.
