RadioDays Europe 2013 : registrations are open!

2013-01-01URTI officially supports Radiodays Europe, an event bringing together private and public radios in Europe, whose 2013 edition will be held in Berlin (Germany) on 18th and 19th March 2013.

Radiodays Europe is an annual pan-European radio conference for leaders from public service and commercial radio as well as related industries. Radiodays Europe aims to be the best and most important radio conference in Europe, with highly sought-after speakers and sessions especially designed to ensure the best possible conference experience for the participants.

Today more than ever before it is important for the European radio industry to create a common arena for discussing radio now and in the future. Radiodays Europe is that arena – a place where representatives from public service and commercial radio can meet, discuss, network, find inspiration and perhaps even provocation. The ultimate aim is to make better radio for the listeners.

URTI can benefit of a special discount rate (575 Euros instead of 775 Euros) by registering on the website(www.radiodayseurope.com) and they will need to use a discount code – “PAR13” - to get the discounted price.

Winners of the 24th URTI International Radio Grand Prix

2012-10-18The Jury of the 24th URTI International Radio Grand Prix has proclamed the list of the award-winners in Paris on thursday, 18th October 2012. This Jury, chaired by Mr Lahcene Moussaoui, included representatives of 12 countries. 124 radio programmes on "Love" have been presented by submitted 77 radio channels coming from 46 different countries.

The prize-giving ceremony took place in Paris last Thursday, October 18, in the framework of "Les Rencontres Radio2.0" at INA-Paris.  URTI organised there its fourth International URTI Conference on the radio of tomorrow, with the participation of Michael Mullane (EBU), Mourad Oudhaoui (Director of Jil FM, Algeria), Baba Dagamaissa (CEO of ORTM, Mali), Zsuzsana Kovesdy (MR, Hungary).

In 2012 the URTI reinforced its position as leader in international grand prix with the participation of 85
countries in its radio-television Grand Prix, endowed with 10,000 dollars.
