The URTI official selection of the 10 finalist documentaries

The preselection Jury of the 34th edition of the International URTI Grand Prix for Author’s Documentary, made up of managers from public television channels and URTI members, met in Paris from April 13 to 16 2015 in order
to draw up the official selection of the ten finalist documentaries:

Front Row: The school in the swamps (Joseph Conrad Rubio) - GMA Network, Inc (Philippines)
Germans are a bit scared of me (Alban Muja) - RTK (Kosovo)
Jimmy goes to Nollywood (Jimmy Jean-Louis & Rachid Dhibou) - France Ô (France)
Little Miss Nobody (Bernard Balteau) - RTBF La Une (Belgium)
Matanga (Georges Kabongo) - Antenne A (Democratic Republic of Congo)
Rwanda, la vie après (Benoit Dervaux & André Versaille) - RTBF La Deux (Belgium)
Taïga (Hamid Sardar) - France 5 (France)
The promise of a happy childhood (Piotr Morawski & Ryszard Kaczynski) - TVP (Poland)
These ten finalist programmes will be viewed
on June 12 and 13 2015 by the Final Jury.
This Grand Prix prize-giving, awarded with 1.000 Dollars, will take place on Thursday, June 18 2015 at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco, in the framework of the Golden Nymph awards ceremony of the 55th Monte-Carlo Television Festival.

Dear members,
You can send us documentaries, reports, fictions, children's programmes, cultural shows, that could be series or units programmes. We invite you, in particular, this year to include in you offer, according to your possibilities, educational programmes (especially the ones for languages learning)
To this effect, please before April 1, 2015 :
=>
one registration form (pdf) for each offered programme, these programmes having to be free of reproduction and representation rights for the entirety of the URTI members.
=>
a copy of the programme on DVD and on Broadcast support at the same time (preferably on hard disk, otherwise on BETA cassettes, DVCAM, etc.) in Mpeg2, IMX50.mxf or DV25.avi format. We shall give you back the hard disks.

The AIBD, in collaboration with its global partners, presents the World Television Awards 2015. The deadline for the programme submission is 1st April 2015.

“The Prize” consists of US$ 5,000.00 cash, a trophy and a certificate presented by AIBD per Award category.
Winners will be presented with their Awards during the Asia Media Summit to be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on 26-28 May 2015, a global gathering of broadcasters.
